Great weather to be a duck 🦆
Did you know all ducks have highly waterproof feathers as a result of an intricate feather structure and a waxy coating that's spread on each feather while preening. A duck's feathers are so waterproof that, even when the duck dives underwater, its downy underlayer of feathers right next to the skin will stay completely dry.
No wonder they look so happy in the rain 😁

🐾 I have 3 wonderful dogs- Ellie, Lego and Poppy. They rule my life and I love them dearly! I also have 3 chooks and 4 ducks.

🐾 I am 100% an animal foster failure.
I will keep all the animals if they come in to my care!

🐾 I love to walk!
I once walked over a thousand kilometres across the top of Spain because that’s my idea of a brilliant holiday. That’s also where I met my wonderful fiancé Flo who happily embraces the animal craziness in our household 😍

🐾 My other great love is gardening and all things flower related.
If I’m not out walking dogs, you’ll find me covered in dirt somewhere in the garden!
